I think this is a great idea! I work at the Globe, and when the kids from out of the country come, also their parents, they have no transportation. I feel so bad for them and so embarrassed for our town that there is no taxi service for these people to get around while they are here to go shopping, etc. Also, in reading the paper there are lots of drunks out during the weekend, maybe if they could call a taxi they would save someone's life by not killing them in a drunk driving accident. Also, there are elderly people who no longer have a license (and many who quite obviously if you have ever to drive anywhere near them shouldn't have one) anymore. They would benefit greatly in being able to still be independent and be able to go do their activities. This area has built so many houses, and they need the services to go along with all the building they have done. Much luck in your venture, I think it would be a huge success if you started it!
