I never get freezes. However, I think your poll will not be valid because the few that do have problems with freezing are also the kind of people who tend to post their problems. I'm guessing only a small percentage of owners experience freezing. Also, people who tend to make these reports are also the type that upgrade their system RAM and from what I've read, "cheap" memory can cause freezing. I upgrade my unit to 2GB with memory from Crucial com and it runs great. I also did a "clean" install of Win 7, getting rid of ALL the software put on by Acer.

Morgan is correct in the assumption that its only those who know about it that will complain. I guess its the same with having a toyota Prius ... nobody knew there was a problem with them until some people started experiencing it?!?!? Unfortunately it does not make it any less broken ...
