So many negative cometnms about IE And everyone of them is 100% true. I too am a Web designer and I have decided to stop designing for IE. When a user tries to access my site now, they are directed to a message and a page which explains exactly why they can't view the site and provides links to alternate bowsers (all of which do a marvelous job of rendering my site properly). Also the misguided IE visitor is directed to contact Microsoft directly and inquire as to why they are seeing a site which displays such a message I figure, let them explain to users why they feel that sites should display as they dictate while ignoring the designers original layout and element placement. I use to design for every single version of IE but no more If those who visit (using IE) get it, fine. If they get it, then they are the type of client I want to work with and those that cling to the ridiculous backward thinking that plauges IE (all versions), refuse to use a real Web browser, so be it. I don't want bull headed clients who are unable to understand why the design they paid for looks like total crap in IE.
