in your article and on your blog, elesciaply now that you only want to hear from the 3 class supporters. The 3 class system has gained momentum because their supporters make arguments based on emotions. They talk big vs. small schools, they talk private vs. public schools, and they talk about giving more high school athletes the opportunity to play at a state tournament. When you lay out the facts though, it's quite clear that we don't have a problem with class B as it is. Six out of the eight schools at this year's state class B girls tournament would be placed in the lowest division in a 3 class system. Only two of them are the big, bad class B schools that would be moved up to the middle class. This year is not just the exception to the rule, either. On the boys side, tiny Turtle Lake-Mercer made it to the championship game last year, and tiny Parshall won the thing two years ago.Our smallest schools can compete just fine in the current class B. We don't need a change. Finally, don't you think that there are also SERIOUS concerns on the keep the 2 class system side? Do we really have to cater to the minority just because they will be really super duper upset if we don't?
