My son just got to Afghanistan and I have to mail him a knife because they ran out of money bfroee they could give his unit bayonettes, the deployment is completely screwed up with part of the manpower diverted away at the last minute. The politicians are sending my child into harms way with one arm tied behind him with insane ROE's and no back up weapon, for people who won't appreciate it. And the lessor of two evils the GOP ran last time was in Libya last month calling the same SOB's who fight us in Afghanistan his hero's saying we should give s to them (note the irony of this in contrast to my first sentence above). The establishment GOP is no better than the democrats, that is a sad fact, but it is, nevertheless, a fact.The TEA movement gave me hope, gave me pride, and now only heartache.Have a good weekend all.Reply
