There's only two guitarists there that deserve to be in the top ten and that's Van Halen and Hendrix. Kurt Cobain WHAT! He was a great Songwriter not a great guitar player. I rate Satriani as one of the overall best, his guitaring is put simply... Perfection and he also taught Vai and Hammet. Others that need a mention are Malmsteen, Petrucci, Bettencourt, Eric Johnson, Robert Johnson to name but a few real guitarists.
