Count one for Adventure 2 It's tricky 'cause they both have great qautilies in their separate rights: I loved SA1 s free-roaming hubs and levels, and the gameplay and storyline felt classic enough. SA2 kept enough of that gameplay feeling, but its story was in the topmost-tier of Sonic games! Even if the storyline felt removed from classic Sonic, the plot more than made up for it.
