Hey guys, enjoyed the show. I coach Air Force and I'm exlmreety interested in the bid allocation process this year. 1. Re: Colorado College I was pleasantly surprised to see CC get some big wins last weekend. Colorado College is a small liberal arts school that is a lot like Carleton, and has pulled high school players from as far away as Amherst. But like most small schools, they don't have the general population to support a strong program year in and year out. I suspect CC's success is in large part due to a strong senior and junior class this season. Also, Nick Spiva is a hell of a player. It's actually his throws that make him an exceptional player. The player he most reminds me of is Evan Klane. You know the backhand huck is coming and when it does, it's near perfect. He was a 2nd Team all region player as a sophomore, a broken finger limited his performance at regionals last year. I have no doubt that he is a major factor for that team. 2. Re: Texas Texas had a promising performance, beating every single SW region team and losing only to Oregon, Minnesota and now in-region competitor, Colorado College. Those wins over SDSU and UCSB are quality and it's nice to see the Texas Program back on track. Texas is the only other South Central team traveling to Stanford Invite in a couple weeks, it'll be interesting to see where this team winds up. Thanks again.David
