Hi,I haven't had meat for the last 29 hours. My daughter is a veatearign. Today she took her test for her temporary driver's permit and passed. We went to celebrate at VegeTarranean in Akron OH. Chrissye Hynde of the Pretenders is the owner. Being a huge rock fan, I knew exactly who she was. As I'm explaining this to my 15 and a half year old, who should walk in, but Ms. Hynde. After a while, she heads over and asks how our meal was, and it was divine. Delicious. Extraordinary. 6 hours later, I'm still remembering the flavors. She talks of how the food industry perpetuates this meat sickness and I know she's so right. We make small talk about our daughters. I love spending time with my kids. I love taking care of them. Going animal-less will be a way for me to improve what I'm already doing. Which is loving my kids.
