Usually I write what I call neo-noir, but I've been dabbling in caigmal realism, and really enjoying it. My first novel, Transubstantiate, was a neo-noir, speculative thriller. My second, which I'm shopping right now, is a neo-noir, transgressive thriller. My third, about five chapters in, Incarnate, is this new caigmal realism vibe. I'm digging it so far.
